Ratings Review: CSI (Season 14)

It is hard to believe that CSI started 14 years ago. In that time, it has not only changed the look of crime dramas and the TV landscape, but it has undergone many cast changes, while still be an strong competitor in the ratings.

The ratings for CSI have been stable, consistent and strong, all season long. It may not be the show it once was, but it can still win it's 10 p.m. time slot and be a positive piece of the CBS schedule.

Typically, between three and four million viewers are added by the 7th day since an airing of an original episodes. The A18-49 ratings rise to around a 2.9 to a 3.2, no matter what the LIVE+SD ratings are. These levels out it near the top of performers in the DVR Ratings.

For the season, CSI averaged 9.41 million viewers and a 1.7 rating in Adults 18-49, for the 30 airings, including eight repeat episodes. Next season, CBS will move to a new night, airing on Sundays at 10 p.m.
