ABC Releases 2014-15 Fall Primetime Lineup

As the third broadcast network to release it's 2014-15 fall schedule, ABC is keeping up with FOX and NBC. The Network will have six new series on the fall schedule, including four comedies. Only Mondays and Sundays will remain the same, from this spring.

The move of AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. to a 9 p.m. slot is a good one. It may have been on too early for the "Adults Crowd" that loves their comic book shows. it also get the franchize out of the way of both THE VOICE and NCIS.

Another good move by ABC, I know... Two in one day? Anyway... The move of THE GOLDBERGS between THE MIDDLE and MODERN FAMILY should allow that troubled 8:30 slot to become as stable as the two veteran sitcoms.

The Biggest move is on Thursday nights. Shifting the two veteran dramas down an hour earlier to allow a new drama at 10 p.m. is risky. but, it does show the importance of the night. the 9 p.m. hour is rampping up to be the most competitive of the week. Currently, we have SCANDAL (ABC), GRACEPOINT (FOX) and THE BLACKLIST (NBC) in the hour, at some point in the season. CBS will need to come with a BIG gun, after it's 7 week football run.

Look for our FIRST LOOK postings, as they become available, and we will also link them from the schedule below.
