FOX Sets Dates for May premieres/Finales:
FOX has set it's dates for the May season finales and season premieres.

HBO Renews Two Series:
Comedies VEEP and SILICON VALLEY were picked up for a fourth and second season, respectively, by HBO.



HOW STUFF WORKS Sold:
Discovery Communications sold the Web/podcast network HOW STUFF WORKS to Blucora Inc. for $45 million. That is 1/5 the price Discovery paid for the asset ($250 million), in 2007.



Netflix to Raise Subscription Rates/ Heading to Cable:
It was announced today that it's monthly subscription rate will rise for new customers only. No set amount was announced, but existing customers will keep their current subscription rates. The streaming company will also begin offering it's service to cable customers with DVRs. Not details were release on when cable customers can access the service.



Apple TV Gets A&E Networks:
A&E, Hostory and Lifetime are all coming to Apple TV. Cable subscription authentication is required, but the networks will include current and past seasons it's shows.
