Ratings Review: DADS (Season One)

DADS got off to a rather optimistic start as the premiere did a lot better than 2012's RAISING HOPE season premiere. The improvement was nearly two million more viewers and an increase of 29% in the A18-49 ratings. However, that optimizim only lasted the one week.

Not only would dads drop below five million viewers, it would never again see four million viewers tune into an episode. Over two million lost viewers from episode one to episode two. Everything it had over RAISING HOPE, in week one, was completely gone.

For the 21 airings DADS had, including three encore airings, it averaged 3.27 million viewers and a 1.3 rating in Adults 18-49. The chances of a second season of DADS is pretty slim. I't season order was cut short to 18, after getting a full 22. The only thing that could save the series is the need to fill three more hours of programming because of the cancellation of THE X-FACTOR.
