Ratings Review: AMERICAN HORROR STORY: COVEN (Season Three)

AMERICAN HORROR STORY is one of the bigger cable series currently on TV. It has a strong, loyal following. It is enjoying success in the ratings and from the critics ans won an Emmy Award for last season's series.

The third season, COVEN, got off to a very strong start, grabbing over 5.5 million viewers and a solid 3.0 demo rating, but it could not sustain that level for the season.It quickly fell below four million viewers bu week three and would only see ratings over four million three times, over the next 10 episodes.

For the season, AMERICAN HORROR STORY drew right at 4 million viewers and a 2.2 rating in Adults 18-49. A fourth season has already been ordered by FX, to air later in 2014. The series should have a long and prosperous life, as long as the stories each season can maintain the high quality level that have been produced so far.
