Ratings Review: DRACULA
When DRACULA premiered in late October, it looked as if NBC found a nice companion series for GRIMM. Viewers clearly liked the premise of the series, but it didn't mee their expectations, based on subsequent episode ratings.
With in just the third episode, DRACULA fell below three million viewers and under a 1.0 demo rating. Even the LIVE+7 ratings were falling under the series premiere live numbers, a bad sign that viewers did not like what they saw.
For the 10 episode season, DRACULA averaged 3.25 million viewers and a 1.0 rating in Adults 18-49. I believe Friday night viewers are open to another horror/fantasy style drama to follow GRIMM, but DRACULA is not that series. However, NBC has not made any official decision on the series, but my money is on the series being dead from this point forward.
