Ratings Review: ABC Mondays - November Sweeps

This Monday night line up for ABC gives it a solid #2 potion on the night, behind NBC, in the A18-49 ratings, but still #1 in total viewers.

DANCING WITH THE STARS is an old show.The numbers are down, once again and in week 2 of the sweeps, it pulled one of its all-time lowest ratings. However, it does rise to the occasion when it is time to start crowning a champion of the competition. To see a two million viewer increase and a demo gain of 29% from that low of lows is encouraging. But, the only real thing that would reinvigorate the series is getting better names for their celebrity contestants.

CASTLE has it's following and the ratings have remained very solid. giving it a #2 spot in the time slot.  Competition from THE BLACK LIST may have taken a little off it's numbers, but not much. We should be seeing many more seasons of Castle in the future.

ABC should see improved ratings in 2014 when THE BACHELOR takes over the 8 - 10 p.m. slot for 10 weeks. Viewership will go down, but the A18-49 ratings will rise.
