Ratings: Broadcast Finals for December 7, 2013

Three of the four networks presented college football games on the night, but it was FOX that, for once, dominated play on Saturday night.

FOX presented the Big Ten Football Championship game, featuring two schools with huge followings, Ohio State and Michigan State. The game drew XXXX, a season best for FOX and the best Big Ten Championship game ever. In the game, Michigan State upset Ohio by a score of 34-24, and is now headed to the Rose Bowl.

ABC's game, featuring Florida State and Duke drew a below average 5.7 million viewers and a 1.7 demo rating. It finish #2 on the night.

CBS had the oddest football schedule for primetime, Saturday night. The late afternoon game overran into primetime, with the post game posting 5.5 million viewers . Then at 8:30 p.m., a repeat of MIKE AND MOLLY filled the remainder of the hour. A special 48 HOURS ran during the 9 p.m. hour, giving a 10 p.m. start time for the MWC Championship game.

FOX - 13.9 million viewers, 4.5 rating in Adults 18-49
