CW Weekly Ratings: December 9 - 13, 2013

Holiday programs seem to be a good choice to preempt the CW Monday night line up. Both KUNG FU PANDA HOLIDAY and the MERRY MADAGASCAR shows drew better numbers than HART OF DIXIE or BEAUTY & THE BEAST. It was a wise choice for the CW to place WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY in the Monday, 8 p.m. slot, come midseason. The night now has half a chance to draw viewers.

ARROW is once again, the most watched CW program of the week, with three million viewers. THE VAMPIRE DIARIES was not too far behind with 2.4 million. The two dramas were the only two programs with over 2 million viewers, despite 60% of the regular CW line up airing new episodes.

For the week, THE CW averaged 1.3 million viewers and a 0.48 rating in Adults 18-49. Not to bad since they did lose the Tuesday night regulars, which is a solid night for the network. It might be a tight race between The CW and ION for the #5 spot for English speaking networks.
