CW Weekly Ratings: December 1 - 6, 2013

The week after Thanksgiving may have been one of the better weeks this season for the CW. Only one night averaged less than one million viewers, Friday and Monday nights had one of it's best showing of the season.

ARROW posted one of its best ratings of the season, with a network leading 3.2 million viewers and a 1.2 demo rating. If the introduction of Barry Allen, a.k.a. THE FLASH, can draw this type of interest, THE CW needs to green light the next superhero series for the fall of 2014.

The only down side of the week was the Thursday night line up. THE VAMPIRE DIARIES posted below average numbers, but that should have been expected with the SOUND OF MUSIC production on NBC taking viewers from most programs on the night.

For the week, The CW averaged 1.77 million viewers and a 0.69 rating in Adults 18-49. That is a rise of 74% in total viewers and a gain of 38% in the demographic ratings.
