Ratings Review: BEAUTY & THE BEAST

The CW rolled out yet another remake into their schedule, re-imaging the CBS 80'sn series, starring Linda Hamilton (The TERMINATOR) and Ron Perlman (Hell Boy). Ratings were middle of the road. other CW series did worse, some did better. I guess that is why The CW gave the series a second season.

For the season, BEAUTY & THE BEAST averaged 1.4 million viewers and a 0.5 rating in Adults 18-49, for 30 airings, including 8 repeat episodes. This coming season, B&B is moving to Mondays at 9 p.m. and will face another fantasy drama SLEEPY HOLLOW, plus the CBS comedies, THE VOICE and DWTS. Not having a strong lead in will lead to a significant drop in the ratings.
