Ratings Review: 1600 PENN
Poor NBC. On the surface, this series looked as if it could be the breakout comedy it needs. The pilot episode was fairly decent. But, like all that have come before it, rating were horrible.
1600 PENN quickly fell under 3 million viewers and even closed out its short run with two episodes under 2 million viewers. The demo ratings were not much better, usually under a 1.0 rating.
Over the 13 episodes, 1600 PENN averaged 2.9 million viewers and 1.1 A18-49 demo rating. It will not get a renewal and Jenna Ellfman will have to find a 4th series to try duplication the success she had with DHARMA AND GREG.
