Weekly Cable News Ratings: Week of Dec. 31, 2018 - Jan. 4, 2019

It was an abbreviated week for the primetime cable network shows, preempted by New Year's Eve programming on Monday and no shows on Tuesday, New Year's Day.

For the remainder of the week, the ratings fell in place as they have for the last couple of months, with MSNBC leading the way, followed by CNN in the demo ratings and FOX in total viewers.
