Preliminary ratings: Wednesday 09/19/2018

The season finale of AMERICA'S GOT TALENT blew everything else out of the water, as the two-hour event collected 12.6 million viewers and a 2.0 rating in Adults 18-49. that is about three to four times better than anything from the other networks could deliver, except for CBS' BIG BROTHER. After the AGT finale, NBC gave us a two-episode sneak peak of the new comedy, I FEEL BAD. The 10 PM episode held onto 6.6 million viewers and a 1.2 rating in Adults 18-49. that is about half of its lead in, the second hour of AGT. Episode two dropped 2.4 million viewers and a third of the demo, in the 10:30 PM slot. For the night, NBC averaged 10.2 million viewers and a 1.7 rating in Adults 18-49.

MASTERCHEF also closed out its season, with two hours grabbing 3.6 million viewers and a 1.0 rating in Adults 18-49. That is down 600,00 viewers and 18% in the demo, from last summer's finale, but still good enough for FOX to take second place on the night.

CBS only had one hour of original programming, with BIG BROTHER at 8 PM. The summer reality series attracted 5.5 million viewers and a 1.4 demo, to lead the way for a nightly average of 3.7 million viewers and a 0.8 rating in the key demographic.

An all-encore ABC averaged 2.4 million viewers and a 0.6 rating in the A18-49 demo.

The CW's BURDEN OF TRUTH drew 700,000 viewers and a 0.1 rating in the A18-49 demographic.
