Preliminary Ratings: Monday 04/30/2018

NBC had an easy time sweeping the night in the ratings, as the VOICE leads the network as the #1 show of the night. THE VOICE drew 8.7 million viewers and a 1.6 rating in Adults 18-49, up slightly from last week's ratings. The season finale of GOOD GIRLS did win the 10 PM hour, but with retention a little above 50%.

ABC debuted the new season of DANCING WITH THE STARS to 8.4 million viewers and a 1.2 rating in the A18-49 demographic. That is a drop of 3.76 million viewers and nearly half the demo audience, from last spring's premiere. But, it is only a slight drop from the previous week's AMERICAN IDOL episode, in the same time slot.

CBS edged out FOX for third on the night, with a very underwhelming lineup. The season premiere of ELEMENTARY came in second in the 10 PM time slot, topping THE CROSSING.

FOX was fourth in the 8 PM hour, with a new episode of LUCIFER and rose to third place, at 9 PM, with THE RESIDENT.
