Preliminary Ratings: Friday 05/25/2018

For the start of the Memorial Day weekend, NBC won a low rated friday night, posting a 0.5 average rating in Adults 18-49, while drawing just three million viewers. CBS was the most watched network, with 3.9 million, but was a tenth of a point behind NBC in the key A18-49 demo. ABC tied NBC in the demo, but was a half million viewers less on the night. An all-orignal FOX failed to draw even 700,000 viewers and tied the CW in the demo, each with 0.2 ratings. The CW averaged under 500,000 viewers.

The 8 PM hour was the only hour all five networks had original programming, with CBS' UNDERCOVERBOSS winning the hour with 3.4 million viewers and a 0.5 rating in Adults 18-49. Burn-off episodes of QUANTICO and CHAMPIONS, on ABC and NBC, respectively, posted 0.4 rating in the demo. FOX premiered PHENOMS to just 800,000 viewers and a 0.2 rating. The CW premiere of MY LAST DAYS tied PHENOMS in the demo, with just 550,000 viewers.

At 9 PM, PHENOMS lost 300k of its first hour viewership, for FOX, while LIFE SENTENCE continues to be the worst rated program of the year, with under 400,000 total viewers. ABC and CBS were in encores, letting NBC's DATELINE win from 9 to 11 PM, with a 0.7 demographic rating and 8.0 million viewers.

At 10 PM, DATELINE continues to dominate, with 20/20, on ABC, getting a 0.6 demographic rating and drawing three million viewers. CBS was in repeats of BLUE BLOODS.
