Final Broadcast Ratings: August 2, 2017

An all-original CBS sweeps the night in the ratings, lead by the Wednesday edition of BIG BROTHER. The reality series collected 6.6 million viewers and a 1.9 rating in the A18-49 demographic, best of the night in each category. A double-shot of summer drama, SALVATION, didn't do much for CBS, ranking fourth in the 9 PM hour, and a weak win in the 10 PM hour.

FOX was a close second, tying CBS in the A18-34 demographic and just a tenth of a point behind in the other two demos. MASTERCHEF was the only other program on the night to post a 1.0, or better, in the A18-49 demographic.

NBC edged out ABC for third, with only THE CARMICHAEL SHOW airing an original episode.
