Final Broadcast Ratings: July 12, 2017

The annual ESPY awards pushed ABC to a Wednesday night Victory, averaging 5.3 million viewers and a 1.4 rating in the A18-49 demographic. That is down 18% in the A18-49 demo and a loss of a few hundred thousand viewers, from last year's ceremony. It is still far better than when the event was televised on ESPN, ending in 2014.

CBS had another soft summer drama premiere, as SALVATION drew just 4.9 million viewers and a 0.7 rating in Adults 18-49. Last month, ZOO posted low numbers in its season premiere, and both series lose a big chunk of its BIG BROTHER lead in. And speaking of BIG BROTHER, it was the night's #1 show, commanding top numbers in all four reported categories.

FOX topped NBC, with MASTERCHEF topping LBS: FOREVER YOUNG, in two of three demographics, and THE F-WORD equaling THE CARMICHAEL SHOW at 9 PM.
