Top 15 Cable Sports Events: April 28-30, 2017

The NFL dominated this weekends sports landscape, with day two and three of the 2017 NFL draft, airing over three networks. Between ESPN, ESPN2 and the NFL Network Day 2 coverage drew 4.1 million viewers, Friday evening. All three streams placed within the top 7 of the weekend.

The first round of the NBA Playoffs is still going. The Clippers vs Jazz game, on Friday night was the #1 sports event on cable, collecting 2.8 million viewers for ESPN. Earlier that night, the Bulls vs Celtics game, ranking 4th overall, produced 2.2 million viewers.

The lower half of the chart has a nice mixture of events, from the PGA to Boxing to Premiere League soccer. But, only the NASCAR Xfinity race, ranking 8th, drew over one million viewers.
