Final Broadcast Ratings: May 4, 2017

CBS wins the night, hauling in the most viewers, with 7.3 million, and posting the best A18-49 rating (1.4) and the best A25-54 rating (2.1). THE BIG BANG THEORY was the #1 show of the night, with 12.4 million viewers and a 2.5 rating in Adults 18-49. The Encore of BIG BANG, at 8:30, improved the time slot by 2.6 million viewers and 33% in the A18-49 demographic.

ABC had a solid night, with GREY'S ANATOMY leading the way, posting the second best demographic numbers of the night. But, SCANDAL lost 28% from its lead in, dropping to a low five million in total viewers and a 1.3 rating in  the A18-49 demo.

The season finale of SUPERSTORE failed to do much for NBC. The comedy ranked 4th in its time slot, lat in the A18-34 demographic. CHICAGO MED rose the numbers, while THE BLACKLIST brought the numbers back down at 10 PM.

FOX did tie NBC in the younger A18-34 demo, but encores in the 9 PM hour kept the network in a fourth place finish on the night.
