Final Broadcast Ratings: May 16, 2017

CBS tops NBC for the Wednesday night victory, filled with season finales by three of the five broadcast networks. CBS nearly doubled up NBC in total viewers, tied NBC in the younger, A18-34 demographic and won in both the A18-49 and A25-54 demos.

NBC might have won the night, in the key demos, if GREAT NEWS was not on the schedule. The comedy double-shot pulled the demos down 50% from its THE VOICE LEAD in and total viewership was off by 65%. CHICAGO FIRE still won the 10 PM time slot, but with a better lead in, it might have dominated its competition.

FOX and The CW were #3 in the A18-34 demographic, leaving ABC in last in the demo, but ABC topped the other two nets in the A18-49 and A25-54 demographics. ABC's best hour was 8 PM, where it finished fourth in the hour.
