Top 15 Cable Sports Events: April 7 - 9, 2017

It was a rather soft weekend for cable sports, as just two events were able to draw one million viewers, or more. ESPN's second round action, was the top draw of the weekend, collecting 2.6 million viewers and a 0.5 demo rating. ESPN also had the #2 sports event, Sunday Night Baseball's Mets vs Marlins primetime game.

Of the rest of the chart, the only item worth noting was the very segmented coverage of the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING event on HBO. Pieced together and the night averaged around 700,000 viewers.
