Primetime Cable Ratings: April 2, 2017

The season finale of THE WALKING DEAD was Sunday night's most watched program, including broadcast TV. The episode hauled in 11.31 million viewers and a strong 5.4 rating in Adults 18-49. But, that is down 3.6 million viewers and a loss of 22% in the A18-49 demo, from last spring's finale.

The women's National Championship game drew a respectable 3.8 million viewers to its title game, ranking second overall for the night. That is a great sign for women's sports.

The National Pastime opened its 2017 season and the primetime game, on ESPN brought in 3.6 million viewers, against some tough competition. Year-to-year, the game grew 700,000 viewers and 20% in the demo.
