Final Broadcast Ratings: April 5, 2017

FOX was Wednesday's leader in the younger demographic ratings, thanks to EMPIRE's draw to younger viewers. The veteran drama commanded a solid 1.8 rating in Adults 18-34 and a 2.2 rating in Adults 18-49. That was enough to offset the poor numbers from SHOOTS FIRED and top ABC and CBS in the desired key demographics. However, EMPIRE continues to slide in the ratings, as each week has been worse than the one before. In just the two weeks since the Spring premiere, EMPIRE hals lost 22% in the A18-49 demographic.

CBS, again, drew the most viewers, with SURVIVOR being the most watched program of the night. The long running reality show was #3 over all in the demographic numbers, behind EMPIRE and ABC's MODERN FAMILY.

NBC was a competitive fourth place, with BLINDSPOT as the weak link tot he regular line up. The crime drama was fourth place, in the 8 PM hour, behind SHOTS FIRED.
