Final Broadcast Ratings: April 17, 2017

NBC Edges out ABC for Monday night supremacy in the Nielsen ratings, taking all three demographic categories and nearly tying ABC for the most viewers on the night. THE VOICE, down week-to-week, was the night's top program in younger viewers, despite drawing 1.6 million viewers less than DANCING WITH THE STARS. At 10 PM, TAKEN tops QUANTICO but places second behind SCORPION, on CBS.

CBS was all original, but is feeling the full effects of the warm, spring weather and the sun staying up longer into the night. All five program drew roughly the same numbers, with SCORPION a little better and 2 BROKE GIRLS, a little worse. For 2BG, it may be the last we see the series, in first run episodes.

FOX was a distant fourth place, as 24L LEGACY ends its first, perhaps last, season. Just 3.3 million viewers tuned into the finale. Even fewer people stayed with FOX to watch APB, which should not be back next season.
