Primetime Cable Ratings: March 19, 2017

March Madness dominates the top of the Sunday night cable chart, placing five games and two studio segments, into the top 15. The Duke vs S. Carolina game, in primetime, drew six million viewers, second only to THE WALKING DEAD for the night. The N. Carolina game that lead into it, brought in 4.5 million viewers.

THE WALKING DEAD delivered 10.3 million viewers and a 4.7 rating in Adults 18-49 to the second season premiere of INTO THE BADLANDS, which only held onto about 35% of total viewers and less than 30% in the A18-49 demo. It still ranked 5th for the night, but its retention out of TWD is less than TALKING DEAD. That show, pushed back to 11 PM, only had two million viewers stick around for the post-TWD conversation.
