Final Broadcast Ratings: March 15, 2017

It was a really competitive Wednesday night in the ratings as the Big 4 networks were neck-and-neck in all the categories. FOX, CBS, ABC and NBC all scored identical 0.8 rating in Adults 18-34 and just two-twenths of a point separated the four networks in the A25-54 demographic. ABC had the edge in the A18-49 demo and CBS drew the most viewers.

The season finale of LETHAL WEAPON, FOX's only decently rated program this quarter, was a competitive 4th place in the 8 PM hour. At nine the season/series finale of STAR drew similar demographic numbers, but lost two million total viewers from its lead in. Next week, EMPIRE returns at 9 PM, with new drama series, SHOTS FIRED as the lead in, at 8 PM.

NBC had a good night with its all-encore line up, staying right with ABC, CBS and FOX. CBS' SURVIVOR topped the 8 PM hour, while the ABC comedies won the 9 PM hour. DISIGNATED SURVIVOR lead the 10 PM hour against a weak CM: BYOND BORDERS and an encore of CHICAGO PD.
