With THE OSCARS leading the way, ABC sweeps the weekly ratings for the week of February 209, 2017. The annual Hollywood event drew just under 33 million viewers and a 9.1 rating in Adults 18-49. that is down from last' year's event and by 13% in the A18-49 demo. The three half hour segments of the Red Carpet all made the top six, including spots #2 and #3. ABC place a total of ten shows in the top 30.
CBS was second on the week, placing five shows in the top ten and 16 in the top 30. All the usual suspects are near the top of the chart, including an encore airing of BLU BLOODS, at #14. New and cancelled series, DOUBT ranked 53rd on the week.
NBC was third place, with just two top 20 programs, THIS IS US (#9) and CHICAGO FIRE (#19). Add in CHICAGO PD (#23) and you have the entire list of NBC programs in the top 30.
It was another sub-par week for FOX, with the same out comes as the last few weeks. Only LETHAL WEAPON made the top 30 and 24: LEGACY was the only other program in the top 50.
For The CW, THE FLASH ranked 17th in the A18-34 demographic.
