Top 100 Primetime Cable: January 9 - 15, 2017

Last week's College Football Championship game, on ESPN, was the #1 show of the week. commanding 24.4 million viewers and a solid 8.0 rating in Adults 18-49. It may be the last time we see ESPN at the top of the weekly chart for quite a while.

FIXER UPPER was this week's top reality series, ranking sixth overall and collecting 3.7 million viewers, on Tuesday night. The home improvement show has been a solid performer since its return to original episodes and is HGTV's #1 series.

News continues to draw in viewers with FOX News taking seven spots in the top 25, CNN getting two spots and MSNBC grabbing two on its own. The first week of TUCKER CARLSON TONIGHT taking over for THE KELLY FILES has not missed a beat with four nights appearing in the top 25, while the fifth night ranking 30th overall. Two of the nights drew well over three million viewers.

The week;s top scripted original program was VIKINGS, on History. The period drama only reached 34th and drew 2.4 million viewers. The second best scripted original was THE HAVES AND HAVE NOTS, ranking 45th.
