Preliminary Ratings: Wednesday 01/11/2017

It was a competitive Wednesday night in the ratings, as the Big 4 networks draw similar numbers,with three of them getting a piece of the nightly leadership.

ABC win the A18-49 and A25-54 demographics, with solid outing from its four comedies. MODERN FAMILY posts a 2.3 rating in the A18-49 demo, the only show of the night over a 2.0. Each sitcom was mostly flat from the previous week.

FOX took the younger A18-34 demographic as LETHAL WEAPON and STAR draw good numbers in the category. STAR is not the hit FOX was hoping for, but it is contributing as a solid performer out of LETHAL WEAPON.

FOX grabs the most viewers, including the most watched show of the night, CRIMINAL MINDS, with 7.5 million. But CBS is also the weakest network of the night in the younger demographics, with only The CW behind it in all three categories.

NBC was a consistent third place over the entire night, behind FOX and ABC in the demos and only behind CBS in the total viewership.
