Preliminary Ratings: December 2, 2016

FOX wins the night on the back of the PAC-12 Conference Championship Game, which drew 5.4 million viewers, a 1.2 rating in Adults 18-34 and a 1.7 rating in Adults 18-49. Last year, the game was played on ESPN and drew just 2.6 million viewers and a 0.6 rating in Adults 18-49.

ABC edged out NBC for the second place spot. The 8 PM comedies won the hour for ABC, posting an above average 1.0 rating in Adults 18-49, for the full hour. DATELINE and 20/20 posted similar numbers for the final hour of the night.

CBS was a close fourth place, with an all-encore evening. the annual airing of the I LOVE LUCY CHRISTMAS SPECIAL was the most watched program of the evening, with 6.7 million viewers.
