Final Broadcast Ratings: December 20, 2016

ABC and CBS share Tuesday night leadership, with ABC posting the better A18-34 and A18-49 demo ratings, while CBS draws more viewers and a better A25-54 demo rating. NBC is a close third place and FOX and The CW are not even close to being competitive.

THE YEAR: 2016 was the night's #1 program in Adults 18-49, posting a 1.0 rating and topping NBC's TONY BENNETT special, head-to-head.

CBS was all repeats on the night, but it still drew the most viewers to a television. The three dramas also tied an all-original NBC in the A18-49 demo and toped them in the A25-54 demo.

It was a full night of son on NBC with an all-new Michael Buble special, at 8 PM and the Tony Bennett special from 9 to 11 PM. Both program placed second in their respective time slots
