Final Broadcast Ratings: October 30, 2016

The day after a series low ratings, Game five of the World Series posted its best ratings of the series. Game five drew 23.6 million viewers and a 6.7 rating in Adults 18-49. That is 8.5 million more viewers and an increase in the A18-49 rating by 60%. Chicago won the game, forcing the series back to Cleveland, with Game Six being played tonight.

SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL was slightly up in total viewers , but the three demographic ratings rose by roughly 10% each. Having a strong NFC Matchup of Dallas vs Philadelphia helped the ratings against the World Series.

CBS did about as expected, with the sports competition on the schedule. CBS had not problem sinking ABC to fourth place, with its weak Sunday line up.
