Preliminary Ratings: Friday 10/28/2016

Game three of the World Series dominated the ratings on Friday night, as FOX collected 17.7 million viewers and a solid 4.7 rating in Adults 18-49. The numbers are right on par with what game two delivered, on Wednesday night. With a close game to the end (Cleveland won 1-0), the numbers could go higher when final ratings are released on Monday evening.

CBS edged out ABC and NBC for the #2 spot, with a consistent performance throughout the night. MACGYVER is keeping up with the other two veteran dramas, in the demos, with fewer total viewers. BLUE BLOODS is still the most watched series on the night.

A second airing of the Peanuts Halloween classic, IT'S THE GREAT PUMPKIN CHARLIE BROWN, pulled in better demographics than the combination of LAST MAN STANDING and DR. KEN from the previous week, for ABC and help the network capture the #3 spot of the night.

If it wasn't for DATELINE, NBC might be the #5 network, behind the lowly CW. The veteran Newsmagazine beat 20/20, in head to head action, at 10 PM.
