Preliminary Ratings: Friday 09/30/2016

CBS easily wins the Friday night ratings, with  consistent, strong performance from all three of its Friday night dramas. MACGYVER, HAWAII-FIVE-O and BLUE BLOODS each won their respective time slots, in all four reported measured categories. However, MACGYVER did take a bit of a tumble fro its premiere, losing 1.8 million viewers and just under 20% in the A18-49 demographic.

ABC was second on the night, but the two 8 PM comedies did fall to third place in the hour, losing to FOX. 20/20 saw week-to-week gains, to help ABC grow week-to week, while SHARK TANK remained flat.

FOX and NBC tied for third on the night, drawing the same number of viewers and posting the same 0.9 rating in Adults 18-49. FOX was all new as HELL'S KITCHEN was second in the 8 PM hour, but THE EXORCIST fell to 4th place at 9 PM, losing a third of its lead in audience.
