Final Broadcast Ratings: October 26, 2016

Game two of the World Series won the Wednesday night ratings, drawing 17.4 million viewers and a 4.8 rating in Adults 18-49. That is down from yesterday's preliminary numbers by 1.4 million viewers and dropping more than 10% in the A18-49 demo. Part of the drop in number could be blamed on a change of the start time of the game, to 7 PM eastern, 4 PM pacific, due to impending rainy weather. The series is now tied 1-1, so that guarantees at least a game 5, to be played in Chicago on Sunday night.

ABC edged out CBS for the #2 spot of the night in all three demographic categories, but CBS did attract more viewers. SURVIVOR topped ABC in the 8 PM hour, while a MODERN FAMILY led 9 PM hour  on ABC to win over CRIMINAL MINDS. DESIGNATED SURVIVOR batted CHICAGO PD, on NBC, for the 10 PM slot. NBC was fourth on the night, but competitive with ABC and CBS
