Preliminary Ratings: Sunday 09/18/2016

The Primetime Emmy Awards was more of an after thought to viewers as the TV event pulled in its lowest numbers ever. Just 9.7 million viewers tuned in, ranking third in its time slot. Year-to-year, the Emmys are down over a half million viewers and 22% in the A18-49 demographic. Click here for the complete list of Emmy Winners.

CBS did very well for its THE CASE OFF: JonBenet Ramsey. The two hour program drew 10.3 million viewers and a relatively solid 2.1 rating in Adults 18-49, while going against the SNF game and The Emmy Awards. NFL Overrun helped lift CBS over ABC on the night, as it delivered 19.3 million viewers to the primetime line up.

The Packers vs Vikings game did haul in 20.5 million viewers and a 7.3 demo rating, only down slightly from last Sunday night's game.
