Preliminary Ratings: Monday 09/05/2016

NBC wins Monday night, but just barely. After season highs last week, both AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR and RUNING WILD saw significant drops. AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR drew 5.8 million viewers and a 1.6 rating in Adults 18-49. That is down 1.2 million viewers and off by 16% in the demo. RUNNING WILD WITH BEAR GRYLLS dropped one million viewers (-23%) and nearly 30% in the A18-49 demo.

ABC was a close second, to NBC, tying them in the A18-34 demographic. BACHELOR IN PARADISE was slightly down from last week, but not at the levels of AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR. PARADISE was down just a half a million viewers and lost one-tenth of a ratings point, in the A18-49 demographic.

CBS' all-encore lineup, which included two BIG BANG episode, topped FOX in three of the four reported categories, with the two networks tying in the A18-34 demo.
