Primetime Cable Ratings: August 17, 2016

FOX News rules cable on Tuesday night, taking three of the top four spots, with THE O'REILY FACTOR grabbing 3.1 million viewers, the only cable program over three million. The primetime average of the news channel was 2.9 million viewers and a 0.3 rating in Adults 18-49.

WWE Smackdown is still going strong on Tuesday nights. It collected 2.5 million viewers and a 0.8 rating in Adults 18-49. That is about 80% of the audiences that WWE RAW produced on Monday nights.

Olympic coverage on NBC Sports Network drew 1.2 million viewers, ranking 20th on the night. that is about 30% above the previous night's coverage, for the network.
