Preliminary Ratings: Sunday 08/28/2016

NBC was back in the winners spot, thanks to its NFL preseason game, featuring the Bengals vs the Jaguars. The game collected 5.6 million viewers and a 1.7 rating in Adults 18-49, topping both primetime games on CBS, on the previous two nights. The FOX overrun NFL game currently is at the same levels as the NBC game, but should change when finals are released, on Tuesday.

CBS did relatively well, considering from 9 to 11 PM,  it is dead last in the demos. BIG BROTHER was the top program of the night in Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54, and tied the nFL game in the 18-34 demo. 60 MINUTS was the most watched program, with 7.8 million viewers.

ABC's average was brought down with the special, WE Day, a public service awareness program. the 7 PM show was the least watched of the night and pulled in worse numbers than even BRAIN DEAD. The three game shows did decent numbers, but were down from the previous week.
