Final Broadcast Ratings: August 16, 2016

NBC's Tuesday night ratings were very similar to Monday night's ratings. Viewership dropped just 200,000, night -to-night, while the three demo categories were down about a tenth of a point. Week-to-week, viewership was down a whopping 9.3 million viewers and the A18-49 demographic lost 30%. When comparing to the 2012 games, NBC saw losses of 6.0 million viewers and a drop under three full points in the A18-49 demo.

ABC edged out CBS for the distant #2 spot, thanks to a decent showing by BACHELOR IN PARADISE. The reality series posted a 1.0 rating in the A18-34 demo and 4.4 million viewers. CBS' ZOO was second in the 9 PM time slot, besting AFTER PARADISE.
