Final Broadcast Ratings: August 10, 2016

The Summer Olympics on NBC took a steep drop in the ratings from Tuesday night, drawing just 26.5 million viewers and a 7.7 rating in Adults 18-49. That is down seven million viewers from Tuesday night and the demo dropped 2.3 points. Compared to the 2012 games, Night 5, viewership is off by 4.4 million viewers and 2.2 points in the A18-49 demo.

BIG BROTHER is not missing a beat, collecting 5.9 million viewers and a 1.1 rating in Adults 18-3r, right around the season average. AMERICAN GOTHIC, however, is not doing as well. It was the lowest rated program of the night in the A18-34 demographic, including The CW shows, and only topped an encore of WHOSE LINE? in the A18-49 demo.

Although The CW ended in its usual 5th place, it was competitive with both FOX and ABC's all-encore line up
