Preliminary Ratings: Thursday 07/14/2016

CBS swept the Thursday night ratings, with its combination of Comedy encores and a Thursday edition of BIG BROTHER. The reality series was the op show in the three demographic categories, posting a 1.9 in Adults 18-49 and a 2.3 in the 25-54 demo. An encore of THE BIG BANG THEORY was the night's most watched show, drawing 7.2 million viewers.

ABC, NBC and FOX all battled it out for Second place, with ABC getting the slight edge. It's special THE PRESIDENT & THE PEOPLE town hall finished second in the 8 PM hour and bested last week's BATTLEBOTS episode, in the time slot. NBC placed 4th in two of the three hours, with AQUARIUS posting the night's worst numbers, from the Big 4 networks. FOX's HOME FREE was 4th in the 9 PM hour, losing half of the total audience, from its BIONES lead in.
