Preliminary Ratings: Sunday 06/12/2016

CBS and NBC split the Sunday night leadership, as THE TONY AWARDS and game six of The Stanley Cup Finals go head to head. CBS takes total viewership, with 8.5 million and Ties NBC in the A25-54 demographic. NBC edges CBS to take the younger key demos.

Game six of the Stanley Cup finals drew a modest 4.8 million viewers, but was tops in the two younger key demographic categories. Last year's game six drew 5.4 million viewers and a solid 2.8 rating in Adults 18-49.

The Tony Awards was the night's most watched program and was #1 in the A25-54 demographic. The awards event collected 8.7 million viewers and a 1.6 rating in the A18-49 demographic. That is up 80% in the demo and growth of 2.2 million viewers, over last year's telecast.

Encores were friendly to ABC, with back-to-back episodes of AFV and a CELEBRITY FAMILY FEUD keeping its competitive on the night.

FOX was a distant fourth/last place, with burn-off of episodes COOPER BARRETT and encores of the other Sunday comedies. COOPER BARRETT was easily the night's lowest rated shows, failing to grab one million viewers, for either episode.
