Final Broadcast Ratings: June 16, 2016

ABC dominated the Thursday night ratings, as game six of the NBA Finals pulls in the best numbers of the series, collecting 20.7 million viewers and a strong 8.1 rating in Adults 25-54. Game 7 is set for Sunday and should top Thursday night's.

CBS was a very distant second place, with an all encore line up, beating both FOX and NBC, over the three hours of primetime.

FOX was all-original, with BONES leading into the season premiere of the reality series, HOME FREE, which collected 2.3 million viewers and a 0.6 rating in Adults 18-49. That is down from last year's series premiere, by 700,000 viewers and and 33% in the demo.

NBC's average only counts the numbers from DATELINE, as the season premiere of AQUARIUS airs commercial free. That means that the low 2.7 million viewers and 0.2 rating in Adults 18-34 will not count agains the weekly average.  I doubt we'll see a third season of the series, in 2017.
