The CW 2016-17 Fall TV Schedule

The CW released its 2016-17 fall schedule and had more changes on the schedule than expected, given the network renewed everything from this past spring.

Three new series appear on the schedule, with the relocated SUPERGIRL, from CBS, leading off the week, on Mondays at 8 PM. That is followed by JANE THE VIRGIN at 9 PM.

THE FLASH will stay on Tuesday nights at 8 PM< but will have a new lead out show, NO TOMORROW, at 9 PM.

Wednesdays are about the same, with veteran ARROW anchoring the night and will lend lead in support for new drama series, FREQUENCY, at 9 PM. FREQUENCY is a TV adaptation of the 2000 theatrical film of the same name.

LEGENDS OF TOMORROW will keep the 8 pm slot on Thursdays, while another move for SUPERNATURAL has it back on Thursday nights, at 9 PM.

The longest running current series for the CW, THE VAMPIRE DIARIES, stays on Friday nights, but will have a new neighbor, the ratings challenged CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND.

Waiting in the wings will be THE 100, iZOMBIE, REIGN and THE ORIGINALS, plus new series RIVERDALE.
