Preliminary Ratings: Monday 05/16/2016

We had two series finales on Monday night, with both doing relatively well with their final episodes. First, on CBS, the MIKE & MOLLY finale collected 8.3 million viewers and a solid 1.6 rating in Adults 18-49. That makes it the most watched episode of the season and the second best A18-49 rating of the season.

At ABC, CASTLE closed out its eight season run, drawing 7.8 million viewers and a 1.3 rating in Adults 18-49. It topped BLINDSPOT for the top spot, drawing more viewers and Adults 25-54 and equaling the NBC drama in the two younger demos. This is the second most watched episode of the season and the top rated episode in the key demos.

NBC was the #1 network of the night, thanks to THE VOICE easily winning the first two hours of the night, in the three key demographic categories. Although, it is interesting that DANCING WITH THE STARS tied THE VOICE in the younger, A18-34 demographic.

FOX was fourth on the night, with only GOTHAM generating any type of interest for the network, as usual, HOUDINI & DOYLE dropped about 50% of its lead in.
