Final Broadcast Ratings: May 2, 2016

It was a low rated, but competitive Monday night in the ratings, as ABC was the most watched network and NBC was king of the key demographic ratings. CBS was third, but was right there with ABC and NBC in the A18-34 demo. FOX still rules fourth place.

The series premiere of HOUDINI & DOYLE fizzled on FOX, with just 2.6 million viewers sampling the new series. The premiere episode lost 50% of its A18-34 lead in and was off by 42% in the A18-49 demo. HOUDINI & DOYLE was also the worst rated program of the night, from the Big 4 networks.

THE VOICE may be carrying NBC to a nightly win, but the numbers are dropping like a rock. Since its season premiere, two months earlier, THE VOICE has lost 3.3 million viewers, 35% of its A18-34 audience and 39% of its A18-49 audience. BLINDSPOT finished second behind the NCIS: LA season finale.

DANCING WITH THE STARS was even from last week's numbers, helping it battle NBC for leadership in the ratings.
