  • Showtime axes comedy

More NEW GIRL:
With most FOX shows struggling to draw viewers, FOX has renewed the veteran comedy, NEW GIRL for a sixth season.



Less EPISODES:
The showtime series EPISODES, will end after its fifth season.



MAD TV Revived:
The CW is reviving the long running FOX sketch comedy, MAD TV, for a primetime run. [LINK]



More LUCIFER & ROSEWOOD:
FOX has picked up the two freshman series, LUCIFER and ROSEWOOD, for the 2016-17 season.



Another Marvel based series:
Freeform has ordered the series CLOAK & DAGGER, a Marvel based franchise, from Marvel Television studio.



FXX renews low rated comedy:
The ultra-low rated comedy, MAN SEEKING WOMAN is coming back for a third season of FX. This past season, the sitcom averaged just 210,000 viewers and a 0.12 rating in Adults 18-49, in the Live_SD ratings.



More LAW & ORDER:
NBC is picking up a new LAW & ORDER series, this one titled 'TRUE CRIME.' L&O: TRUE CRIME will be an anthology series, like AMERICAN CRIME STORY, focusing on a real life case over eight episodes.



TBS orders more of new comedy:
Premiering this past week, TBS has picked up THE DETOUR for a second season.



Daytime series gets two more seasons:
Warner Brothers TV daytime series, THE REAL, has been renewed for two more season, giving it life through the 2017-18 season.
