Preliminary Ratings: Tuesday 04/26/2016

NBC had a solid three hours of programming, on Tuesday night, winning every hour in the three key demographic categories and averaging the most viewers on the night. The A18-34 demographic did not waver over the three hours, with each program posting a 1.1 rating. The variance of the A18-49 demo was just two tenths over the night.

Despite encores from its two powerhouse NCIS series, CBS was the #2 network on the night. NCIS was the most watched program, topping THE VOICE at 8 PM. The repeat NCIS: NEW ORLEANS episode beat a new AGENTS OF SHIELD episode in every category, except the A18-34 demo. The season finale of LIMITLESS was soft, but held the demographic numbers of its lead in.

The CW beat both FOX and ABC, with a strong showing from THE FLASH, which tied for #1 in the A18-34 demographic and tied for 4th place in the @a18-49 demo. CONTAINMENT rose a tenth of a point, in the A18-49 demo, from last week's premiere, and was flat in the other categories.

Both FOX and ABC looked bad. BEYOND THE TANK was the worst program of the night, which pulled just s 0.2 in the A18-34 demo. GRANDFATHERED was the second least watched showm barely beating CONTAINMENT.
